Welcome

Welcome to Youth Project Africa. We are a charity network for education, vocational training and community development based in Cameroon with representation through out Africa. Our main goal is to stand up for the youths and to serve as the pathway to empower youths and other underprivileged groups in education, health and community development. We create and offer scholarships and other grants based on needs and not merits.

We also18664318_1452777088120381_7521141131125932270_n conceive, plan, establish and organize educational and professional training programs and centres with specific focus and emphasis on women, the girl child, unemployed youths and physically challenged individuals and minority groups. The goal is to provide new skills, refine the existing skills and technical know-how. This will lead to employment, self-employment and generate income generation.  We also partner with other organizations to provide materials, tools and equipments to individuals, schools, health centers and community centers.

We started as a local solidarity group since 2010 when we pulled together hundreds of volunteers and engaged them in community work in different areas in Cameroon, including Buea, Douala, Mamfe and Kumba. Our main goal is to empower youths and show them the opportunities to develop their selves. To do this we run training sessions for young farmers, tailors, carpenters, mechanics etc. We also collect and donate school and training items to students, pupils and trainees. On a regular basis, we organise HIV/Malaria awareness campaigns. In 2013 and 2015 we had many volunteers from China and Japan respectively (the director studied in China and Japan for three years) and our organization became more viable. In the same year we were registered and recognized by the government of Cameroon. More than 500 pupils have also benefited from our scholarships for basic education.

We have a solid team of women and men who want to change the world. You are welcome to work with us in any of our projects. Kindly go through our site or contact us to find out how you can get involved.
